A Celebration

The Beginning

I first started blogging back in January when I got the news that the new addition to the family was to be a girl. I'll admit I was terrified, hence my initial blog was titled OMG It's A Girl. You can view it here. I never imagined that in such a short space of time i'd have over 3000 views on the blog.

My initial reasons behind blogging were just as a place to write what I was thinking. I don't think I actually envisioned anyone actually reading my posts besides myself. A few things happened. I joined Twitter, you can  Follow @OMGitsagirl2015

Here I met some really great people and found some great blogs. I've listed some of these below. Please don't get offended if you're not listed, I cannot list everyone who has helped, by offering advice, re tweeting my posts or just read and commenting on my ramblings.

The Transition

After just a short time blogging I realised that by just blogging about my new daughter,

1. I was severely limiting the types of post I could write
2. The blog would be pretty boring for a few months

With this in mind on March 17th I moved the blog. Here is the post 

Since starting this new blog, I've seen my Twitter following go to 450. Joined Instagram, received my first product to review. Keep an eye out for the post in the coming days. Enquired about #BabyPink becoming a brand rep with a very large company. (Something I would never have done before Blogging) written a Guest Post and been selected to write a feature that will be in Maternity & Infant Magazine (June Edition)

The Present

Then today as I went to my Blogger Dashboard I saw that I had gone over 3000 views. I was gobsmacked. I have a wee look every now and then to see how many views different posts have had, but never really looked closely at the total. It was only when writing this post I looked at the date of my first post and noticed it hadn't even been 2 months.

Either one or two of you are taking a very keen interest or somehow my ramblings are of interest and use to someone out there.

The Future
