#Throwback Thursday Week 1

This was me aged 10.

A happy little soul wasn't I. My mother decided she was able to cut hair.

Having teaching degrees and being a math and science genius does not make you a good hairdresser!!

  1. Ha bless you though it's not that bad ;) when Fin was small he used to refuse to go to the hairdressers so I once cut it whist he was asleep only when he sat up I realised how wonky it was and had to shave it off!

    1. Ah poor Fin.

I'd be terrified I'd mess it up so haven't attempted cutting the boys hair yet!

  3. Brilliant!I'm afraid I had a very similar haircut as I was a bit of a tomboy and my Mum always said my hair was like "rats tails" so she got it cut short. The shame #throwbackthursday

    1. Looking through photos of the kids there have been times we've left it a bit past haircut time. Oh well they have some good #throwbackthursday pics of their own.

  5. Haha! My childhood was the opposite, my mom didn't cut our hair because it was nice and long. (I think I refused to have it cut too!) worst split ends you've ever seen! #throwbackthursday
