My 10 Things

I've so many lists of 10 things I could write. 10 things I want to show my kids. 10 things I love to cook. 10 things I want to do.

You see. There are plenty. For my first linkup with Cornish Mum's 10 things list, I think I will go with 10 useful blog posts.

A bit like most things I dive in headfirst and then research after. These posts have been very useful in helping me and a useful resource to refer back to.

In no particular order, here are My 10 Things

1. The PR lowdown by the brilliant You Baby Me Mummy. An excellent post for anyone wishing to work with brands on their blog.

2. Understanding Goggle Analytics by The Dad Network. Doesn't profess to be an expert. But plenty of infographics to explain the basics and how to use them.

3. Joining a linkup. It took me ages to figure out how to join a link up. This short guide, by Mum In A Nutshell. Tells you in straight forward steps how to join one.

4. 9 ways to improve your blog. The Dad Network again. Another great infographic, with some simple tips to improve your blog.

5. 10 reasons I'm not reading your posts, by Slouching Towards Thatcham. I found this very useful. My post views are going up and up, not much else to show they are being read. I'll be doing site maintenance based on this post shortly.

6. Journey of a Professional Blogger. This is an interview with David Leonhardt, by easkeme blog. Not tips as such but a very good insight into blogging, and how it's done by a professional.

7. How to Create a Blog Media Kit. Another great post from You Baby Me Mummy. I really need to create one for my blog.

8. 16 Tips from Blogging Experts. I found this post on Bluffer and there are some great tips for the beginner blogger.

9. Make Your Blog Posts More Conversational. By Joan Harrington. Some solid advice about improving the quality of your posts.

10. Develop a Killer Social Media Strategy. Another really useful post from You Baby Me Mummy. Every blogger needs a social media presence.

Well I hope you find these posts useful. Maybe one day I'll be featured on a list like this.
